Rules

• Introduce yourself onlist and let me know which pairing you'd like to write for and I'll assign you a date.

• Please allow your story to remain exclusive for the Slash Advent Calendar 2003 until December 30, 2003. (This so that people can post their stories to lists that have 2003 awards like ASCEM for instance.)

• Please, please heed the deadline (usually two days before your story and/or art piece is supposed to be online) If you can't meet the deadline, let me know in advance so I can assign someone else your date and move your story to a later date - or remove you from the running entirely if that's your wish.

• Stories are not to be posted on the list, only on the Slash Advent Calendar Website on the specific date you have been assigned.

• You may write as many stories/make as many art pieces for the SAC-2003 as you wish. One or ten is all up to you.

• There's not really a length requirement, but I'd appreciate it if the fics exceed at least 300 words, but there's no upper limit.

• Any rating.

• No Real Person Slash.

• No underage (chanslash) sex (characters must be over 16 if they're involved in a sexual relationship. ).

Submission formatting:

• No smartquotes (i.e, write your story in a text editor) or fancy formatting such as lines/colors/tabular indents/frames or some such. Plain text with italics or bold only, thanks!

• Double space between paragraphs. No hard linebreaks inside paragraphs, please. (Emails usually create hard linebreaks, also called "wrapped text")

• You may submit your story as Microsoft Word, HTML or text.

• Stories must be spellchecked and please make sure it's been beta-read by someone.

• Post your story to kira at kardasi.com with the story title, date in question and pairing in the header.
  An example: The Sucky Christmas, Clark/Lex for December 8.

• Include the necessary headers:
  Author
  Title
  Date: Which date is your story meant for?
  Fandom: Smallville, Harry Potter, Buffy,  Star Trek, Highlander, Sentinel, Misc or Femmeslash?

  Rating
  Summary
  Disclaimer
  Feedback address
